I like the pre-Robotto stuff. They had some great songs. Madam Blue, Lady, Blue Collar Man etc.

Hee hee - I remember playing many a game of Night Driver with Renegade playing on the jukebox, when I was 9 or so. That said, Styx suck ass, just as they did back then.

Ha-ha..saw them last summer. Mr. Roboto was the only song I ever liked - and that's the only one they didn't play :(

Styx was one of the first 12" albums I purchased way back when, when record stores had records and cassettes instead of CD's and DVD's.

I used to think Styx was one of those wierd new wave bands of the 1980's, because the only song of theirs I knew of was "Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto". It wasn't until later that I learned that they used to be a well known rock band.

Styx, they're up there for me as far as older rock bands go. Quite a few decent jams and the versatility of two singers.

They actually had three singers.

All pre Paradise Theater stuff was good. PT only had a couple of good songs. Grand Illusion was my first album at 5 years old. Next was Boston "Don't Look Back".
