Stylus for kindle fire????

SO my dad and I went in together to get my mom a kindle fire. Tonight when she opened it I noticed she has a habit of trying to press the screen with the tip of her nail.
While her nails aren't long at all it is a little hard I guess for her to make skin contact on the screen.
so is there a stylus that might be easier for her to use with a tablet?

How would a stylus be easier to use than her own finger. It would be easier to just explain how the touchscreen works.

you're right she doesn't know how to use it.... I'm trying to find something that will work.
i expect eventually she'll get the hang of it
