Ill be running a 3700 San Diego, 7800GT, 2 gigs of crucial..etc..

I want a stylish case, but reliable. Nothing to fancy though (Like the obvious Radimax cases)

I like lights..but not goofy lights. Preferably not see-though, (If its see through, it better be good..lol)

ATX Mid-tower (duh)

I prefer and Air Duct, and I looove silence. (dont we all?)

I love the phrase "reliable case"

What makes a computer case, a shell, reliable/unreliable? :p

I understand what you are asking, I just think it's funny. :)

I dont know about how "stylish" the Lian-Li PC7B Plus is...But it does have "elegant" looks...Build quality second to none...Excellent thermal performance and in your "110.00 max" price range it is easily my weapon of choice...Second place is way and I mean way back there.

Stylish and a Samurai

All the whistles and bells.

How about this Stylish Case

Shucks you could even get you one of THESE If your gonna be stylish you gots to be color cordinated !!!

You'd be set in like a new toilet seat...LOL...Jst messin withcha !!!!

I'm also wondering about the term "reliable".

If that is meaningful.....avoid Antec cases with doors. Even their newest p-180 has door problems. It doesn't close properly.....bulges out in the middle. And the double-hinge mechanism is flimsy, sticks, and is quite likely to give you problems (reliability).

Thank you for that post. I have not spit coffee at the ol'Mit 2060u in ages.
ROFLMAO by the time i got to the third case you linked. Lord have mercy!!
The display needed cleaning anyway :p

The LL PC7B Plus is the very best you will get for <$100. Reliable, yes!! That design has been around for ages and it will remain around for a good long time to come. It may look like Grandad's old business coupe but as he never tired of his car because it was reliable
so to I have found this brand to be an absolute joy to own and work on/with.
Stylish?? The style is in the very nature of understated quality. PERIOD...;)
Would one put chrome studs on Gucci dress leather gloves, not hardly!

I just bought and have modded a POS SkyHawk case for my sister's comp build. I wish now that i had just put an additional $60 in the deal and got her this PC7B Plus.
She won't know the differance but I will.

JBDan is a silence freak and that is a good thing. I learn so much from his breed.
If he says the P-180 can be set-up for silence and thats what you want, go for it man.

My comp is set-up in a small office in the back of a 4 car garage. I can hear the intersection of two freeways in the distance. So I must endure some noise.

The only remaining advice that i can muster.........OP, don't get a plastic PC case.

In the lighter vein established by chalietee: Stylish Whoooeee, mama - if you look at that thing just right... ;) You can get the actually decent insides of that with the Evercase 42x2 series for under $50. w/o PSU.

Seriously now, the Kingwin 424 series is elegant, conservative and technically on target. You can also get it under the Beantech or Victor names from http://www.computergate.com . ZZF has had the best price and selection on the Kingwin branded ones.

The Thermaltake Tsunami is a bit flimsy but pretty good technically. Other Tt models run from pretty good to looney-bin...

The Antec P180 has an overly industrial look to my eye and has some quirks, but gets high technical marks.

I also like the Silverstone Berserker (see my review here: http://www.techimo.com/reviews/ ) and the Just PC Gazelle series - but I'm definitely in the minority on those. Some of the other Silverstones are fine cases to. CoolerMaster also does some competent cases and others that are more show than go...

If noise abatement is important to you, visit http://www.silentpcreview.com for their reviews and recommendations.

Budget models that have the technicals squared away are: Antec SLK3000-B, Compucase 6A19 (mostly the same as the Antec but w/o the breakable door), Evercase 42x2 series (x can be 5, 7, 9 etc.).

That's it, in a nutshell. However, usually takes one of us tech types to say "style comes from quality."
