Stutering at HL2 with X800pro ,with low settings

Hi there ,

i got _ Athlon64 3200+, 1G Ram, 120G -sgHD and X800 Pro,
and when playin HL2 (roxx!!), it has some stutterings, quick freezingz, at some points, even if i get all settings to low!with an x800 pro!

its like normally it s ok, (48fps), and at some points that stutters, fast freezes, curiously i hear the HD.

do u know why is that happening? any help would be apreciated.

It's a bug in HL2...Valve said they are working on it. Theres a 100 page thread in the steamforums about it if you want to check it out.

Then in an Updated version theyll fix it , cool, hope they do it quick, i won t play until then.

this happens when the game autosaves. As lilkiller said, Valve is working on it.

try typing CL_SMOOTH 0 in console, should fix it
