Stupidity of the day

Ok so here is my stupid move of the day and kinda of last night. Last night i opened my parakeets cage to let him out...Fell asleep forgot to shut it, he doesn't come out yet working with it. Well woke up this morning got ready opened the door and the cat came in, I forgot the bird cage was open until I was an Hour 1/2 away and working.... My poor bird

Reminds me of the time i was sitting on the couch eating breakfast watching sportscenter in the morning. I glance down at the floor and one of our gerbils is sitting there looking at me. My gf had left the top to their cage open and they all climbed out, about eight of them. Took some work to finally get them all caught again!
