So, I was driving my WRX down the street when the damn throttle got stuck. It was
Kind of scary, but I kept my cool and only hit that house going 50mph. I was going faster but
Once I hit the lawn I slowed down enough so that I only went through two walls and a fence

Hey man,

This is not really related, but I'll tell you that I am a firm believer in A) SEAT BELTS and B) the safety of WRX's.

A couple months ago, my friends and I were visiting a friend down at UCSB (we live in Frisco). We left in the evening so we took US 101 going 130MPH, no problems.

We leave in the morning, not two minutes into our trip back, my friend is going about 90MPH. We see our exit (to junction 217), and we all exclaim "HOLY CRAP! WE NEED TO EXIT!"

My friend swerves and we hit a ditch or a curb or something. There's a loud thud. The car spins at least three times and we get caught on a small hill. At this point, we're all thinking "holy s***..." But not one has said anything yet. Suddenly, the car starts creaking and eventually, the whole damn thing flips over onto it's top.

If I wasn't so lazy right now, I'd write about it more in detail, but we all got out unscathed (except my friend who kept complaining about a scratch on his palm). The car was totaled but he ended up getting $26,000 for the car (he paid $27,000 for it).

Anyway, you're lucky =P
