Stupid Windows question...

Just wondering how to modify those menus/shortcuts that appear when I right click on the start button? 😕

Thanks

I think those can be edited in the Registry, you might want to see if there are applications that will modify those, WinBoost Gold and the like allow registy editing with getting the hands dirty.

Hi! I just look at that Windows/Sendto directory and that wasn't it. I'm talking about Windows 98 BTW. When i right clicked on the Start button I got a menu that contains "open", "explore", "find", and a bunch of Winamp stuff that I want to get rid of! 🙂

Thanks.

Those aren't files, those are Windows Explorer commands.. If you right click on any folder under Windows, you get those same options. The place you can, to some degree, edit those is under Folder Options. The File Types tab will have a file type called "File Folder" Double-click that and you can add/change/delete menu commands. But remember, if you delete one of those commands, it will affect ALL OF YOUR FOLDERS.

Ah! Sure enough, there they are! Thanks HansXP. Too bad I can't do anything about it. There's a 'remove' button but it's disabled.
