I hate this stupid key (the menu key between the control and alt) with a passion... Interrupting and possibly crashing my programs just to load the start menu? How absolutely idiotic. For most applications its annoying but for games not meant to access the desktop while in use, it's a possible death sentence with an easy, accidental click. I've tried winkey assasin and others and also resorted to removing the actual key from the keyboard. Now that I have this new shiny Logitech Elite keyboard, I didnt want to deface it to remove the windows key.
I found a cool registry hack (Probably been out a long time though) that disables the key from ever bothering you again. Works very well as far as I can tell. So if anyone else is looking for this, here's the best link I found which made it very easy to do even for a newbie.
