Never cosign for friends/family on loans/leases.

that makes sense but sadly many, many people are apt to make this mistake. If someone asks me for a loan because the bank won't my first thought is why would you pay me back if you cannot pay the bank back.

Tell your friend #2 that stripping is a much more financially responsible self destructive behavior in this situation. Stop cutting and start stripping.
Tell her that she could do a lesbian show with friend #1 since she really should be helping out too.

I feel like I read 1/2 a story and I'll never be able to find out how this ended up.

Think OP was full of shit anyway. Any landlord with half a brain requires the co-signer to earn double the requirement of the primary tenant. So if primary tenant needs 40x monthly rent (i.e. minimum salary of $72k/year), the co-signer would require 80x, or $140k/year. This is obviously because the co-signer may be required to pay their living expenses and cover the tenants in the event of loss of income.

Who in their right mind would accept a co-signor who is not even out of college? Unless she was a high price hooker, or had some successful ebay business, I don't see how she was pulling in $140k/year.

Not to make light of the situation but this reminds me of one of those quests from cRPG/KotOR/Oblivion/Mass Effect/etc that involves solving a NPC's quest/problem for multiple parties.

Question is: do you want to be a Paragon or a Renegade or somewhere in between?

Renegade:
Tell GF that you will resolve the situation if she has sex with you
Promise Friend #1 to resolve the problem with the landlord if she has sex with you
Promise Friend #2 to resolve the problem with the landlord if she has sex with you
Fuck all three
Wait until GF goes to work
Tell landlord that the 2 girls don't have any money to pay for rent
Delete everyone from fuckbook
Pack up and leave
(5 Renegade points)
(Girlfriend lost)
(Friend #1 lost)
(Friend #2 lost)
(Achievement unlocked: Sex Fiend)

Paragon:
Tell GF that you will resolve the situation
Get landlord, Friend #1, & #2 together and get a deal to temporary lower the rent
Talk to Friend #1 and help her get a job
Talk to Friend #2 and help her with her personal issue
Get all three resolved
GF wants to give you a reward (sex/money), you refuse and said it's your duty to help friends, GF then insists on sex, you say ok.
(*5 Paragon points)
(Achievement unlocked: Winston "The Wolf")

Or something like that...

Have girl#2 found incompetent to cosign a lease considering she has mental issues. IF it goes to court her attorney will surely argue she was unfit to cosign that lease.

how long is left on the lease? is there a way to break it? usually costs like 1-2 months rent. this could be better than paying the life of the lease.

I agree. It is quite possible the landlord would take some penalty payment and let them out early rather that deal with eviction, courts, people breaking stuff in his apartment, etc.

....and you said Friend #2 can't say no to anything....hmmmm.....anything??

Just tell them to get evicted. As long as they move out, I doubt the landlord will come after them. It costs +$5,000 in legal fees to pursue and additional costs to pursue collections.
