I've gotten 7 scamming emails on this one item I posted on Craigslist, and after the last one I finally retaliated and sent back:

Honestly, did all the scammers in the world get together and decide "Hey, let's pick Nigeria every time we try to scam someone, they'll NEVER catch onto that!" Go fvck yourself and then have some goat feces for lunch.

xoxo

Is there any way I can report these people to the proper authorities or at least somewhere I can give their "name" and email address?

Errr... they knew it was active, seeing as it was part of the posting for the item I'm trying to sell.

Ive recently got half a dozen scam emails from posts on craigslist as well. They're all the same. Broken english, they want to "send" payment, then when I get "confirmation" they will send UPS to pick it up.

One of mine got original, he said Egypt instead of Nigeria. Be careful about those Egyptians too! :p

Yeah but it routes it to my regular email.
