Stupid rain -- now I have a clean car -- now it's really gunna rain

Wouldn't ya know it. Was just washing my car, and had it all dried off. Went inside to get a glass of water before going back out to put on a fresh coat of Zaino and my Meguiar's Tire Shine and it starts to sprinkle. There goes that plan. I at least got the tire shine on, but polishing the car in the rain doesn't work too well. I was gunna sweep and shampoo the interior too, but since I gotta leave the windows down for it to dry, I guess I won't be doing that today either. Argh.

At least the car was nice and clean for a couple minutes..
 
do you ever look at the weather channel? I think that may help next time.

btw: I love the way you linked the products you used, It felt like I was watching a commerical 🙂

What's this weather channel you speak of? They said it was going to rain every day this week and it didn't. Or at least for the past 2 or 3 days. I did check Yahoo weather and it says Sunny and in the 70's. Looked at the satellite picture and radar picture and nothing over the great state of Georgia.

I used the California Water Blade to dry it with. Clean the engine with Simple Green. Use a sponge that I got on sale at Pep Boys, and bought my pretty green bucket at Target. The hose came from the Ace Hardware store up the street.

When it finally stops raining I'll use Mother's Showtime detailer to clean the car back up.

It hasn't rained in forever here in New England. You can tell who parks their car outside, because the car is covered with a fine light green sheen of oak pollen.

man that sucks...i have not had that happen to me yet....but i did see a nice beamer come out of those handwash and get splashed by the garbage collecting trucks with mud

Well, it stopped sprinkling so I was able to put on the two coats of Zaino. Nice and shiney. Looks pretty good for a 5 year old car that has never spent the night in a garage. Now I hear thunder so I guess the real rain is on it's way.
