Stupid question

I have a Linksys router and I was wondering if I could plug in a wireless router to that. I have two desktops that are hard wired and my wife just got a wireless laptop.

My guess is it would work ok, but wanted to double check...😱

Thanks

What you actually want is just a Wireless Access Point (WAP), not a Wireless Router. Plug that into one of the LAN ports on the back of your router and you should be good.

There are ways to configure a Wireless Router to function like a WAP, but in your case I would just buy a WAP.

Wow, that really was a dumb question, I didnt realize that the wireless modem had wired ports on it too...😀

oh well, thanks for the help anyway..
