Why is the Radeon xl cheaper then the Radeon pro in almost every store?Like Best Buy,Futureshop etc..Isn't the Radeon xl better then the Radeon pro?

X800 XL and the X800 Pro, here's why:

If this doesn't help I need more info of the type of XL your looking at. Different companies make different tweaks, Ex: Sapphire, Powercolor, Gigabyte etc.

The Radeon X800 XL's vary from 256MB -> 512MB so if this link doesn't give you any idea, I need more info on the exact one your looking at.

You mean X800 XL and X800 PRO, right?

In that case, the X800 XL is faster than the X800 PRO, I believe. Don't buy computers parts form stores like "Best Buy." Get them online.

For PCI Express:
X800 XL: From $230
X800 PRO: From $240

For AGP:
X800 XL: From $265
X800 PRO: From $221

So neither is really cheaper than the other, but for practical reasons, the X800 PRO was replaced by the X800 XL a while back.

I dont usally buy them from stores like Bestbuy and futureshop.I was talking about the ones from ati and agp.Bestbuy and futureshop has the ATI Radeon 256MB AGP Graphics Card (X800XL) for $329CAN and the ATI Radeon X800 PRO 256MB AGP Video Card for $449CAN.
