Stupid question

I changed one of my email passwords - and now I can't find out how to get Thunderbird to let me change the one it has stored. It just keeps trying to use it and returning the BAD PASSWORD error. Well no sh!t, Mozilla, let me change it.

Tools > Options > Advanced > Saved Passwords
You'll see a button like, Managed Stored Passwords.
Just delete it.

Well, after the 50,000th time popping up the same box, it got the idea and prompted me for the password. Fscking retarded.

After a certain amount of failed attempts, it decides to ask you for the password.

Most completely illogical place to put it ever. But then, what more should I expect from opensores software?

Options, unless you work on Lotus Notes, is where you put GLOBAL SETTINGS. Account Options, unless you work on Lotus Notes, is where you put LOGIN INFORMATION.

I suppose you're right, but I don't really mind. Only took a few seconds to look around.

I don't know what you're talking about. Outlook put it in the same place almost. It's under Tools menu and you can reconfigure your mail settings from there. I am guessing they are catering to Outlook users.

And Outlook is catering to Lotus Notes refugees. I suppose this all made sense in 1990 when Lotus last made meaningful changes to that abortion.
