How does one cash a postal money order? Same way as a normal check? Or does it have to be done at a post office?

You can cash USPS money orders (up to a certain amount, forgot how much) at any post office. You can also mail them in with your deposits, count them as checks.

You can cash it anywhere that cashes regular checks. Your bank, grocery store, etc. 😀

Postal money orders are the easiest to cash at your nearest post office. Alot of places that take regular money orders, don't normally accept postal & vice versa.

if you cash it at the post office, they give you the equivalent value in first class stamps.
