Stupid Question: How to stop some web sites from opening minimized??

When I click on some links or web sites on my desktop they now open minimized. This started occuring several days ago. I can not figure out how to get them to go back to opening maximized or at least using most of the screen. Seems easy to fix but I can not figure it out. Note that only some open minimized...

Any help or ideas would be great....

I've heard people say press shift when you hit the x.. but that might only be if you would not have it maximized but resized the window so it was basically maximized. I don't really know though, and I hate when somehow my windows (not only IE too) get all messed up and open all weird sized or positioned! :|

Tried the shift when clicking on the X -- sites still open minimized and in odd positions.

Anyone else know how?

I really wish I knew what caused the change. It is most frustrating to my 5 yr old since I keep some of her favorites on the desktop and they are having the problem.....

Just figured it out. Really simple. Just drag the minimized screen larger then close it. It will come back up to the size it was dragged to. It effects any sites saved to the desktop.

I use Autosizer. It's freeware and you can use it to customize the way applications' screens open. Very nice and unobtrusive and it does the job. I like my IE windows to open maximized every time.
