stupid question.... driver for mobile radeon 9000

which driver am i supposed to use for the "mobile radeon 9000" for the dell 600m?

I have the driver that was on the install cd when i bought the laptop.... but games run like crap. The textures are messed up, etc.

where do i go to update the driver? i already checked ati's website... thanks

Google "(Mobile/Mobility) Radeon Catalyst" ... should give you a link.

I think the Omega drivers might work too.

i have a 600m too with the same ati card. My games are running just fine with the default drivers, I tried to update to the latest catylst from ati's website about a month ago but it was a no go. I uninstalled the old drivers but after every bootup it reinstalled it, and the new installer couldn't get over that I think.

Anyways after about an hour of trying I stuck the dell cd back in and reinstalled their set. I'd still like to update the drivers but I think I'll have to wait till I reformat.

You can try this with this.

Hack the desktop drivers and the install it on a laptop. Worked for me and my ATI IGP345m.
