Stupid question: Any guy > 6' have only 32" inseam?

I asked this question a while back, but I'm somewhat bothered by the fact that I'm ~6'2 and I wear a 32" inseam. I could probably sport a 34" length in jeans, but not in dress slacks/chinos/etc.. Anyone else in my same position? Wtf?

I guess it all depends where you where your pants . . . do you center your belt buckle over your belly button?

I'm 6'6" and I typically wear a 34" inseam . . . but I'm a fat bastid and don't wear my pants as high as I should. 😉

Alpha: Either you're 300% German (hence the misproportion), or you've got some crazy "bunch up" going on.

I'm thin, and wear my pants where I should, it just seems odd to me. I like there to be ~1" of space between the bottom of the pant and my shoe when my legs are straight, and more so when crossed. Any more than this results in the excessive "bunch up" that just looks sloppy, imo.

Eh well...

I always thought that if you're standing straight, the pantleg should come over the shoes a little.
No offense, but if they are above the shoes it looks a little dorky to me.

6'4" and wear 34" inseam in jeans and khakis, 32" for dress pants that I want to break only once at my shoe laces.

toolgirl: There's no space above the shoe standing up, only when legs are crossed, etc.. I'm not sporting highwaters here 🙂

perry: I'm exactly the same way. I like about one "break" right at the shoe...

I used to be 6'1 and a 32" in dress pants but I've gotten a little out of shape the past year (can't get enough exercise during school) and my gut has increased just enough to make it uncomfortable. I didn't feel all that great when I had to get all 3 of my suits taken out. 😛

Jeans and casual wear I don't have to worry about, they are all 35x36 or bigger. 🙂

I sport a 32" inseam. I'm 6'0 and have really long, monkey-like arms as well as tall upper body. It doesn't look totally weird, but pants just don't look good on me. I wear 34(even though my waist is a 32) 34s, and these are the only pants that don't make my legs look stubby. Great...now you got me thinking about how stubby my legs are. I hate you. 😛

i'm 6'1 and i wear a 32x32, i don't wear them over my belly button though, rather just one the hips, well what little hips i have...

People wear pants over their navel? lol

I usually wear them to where the belt would sit right on the hip. Does anyone wear their pants above their navel?

Here's what I mean. This was taken during the summer...I kinda look anorexic don't I? I forgot to wear a belt...and I just was in my comfort mode. If my pants fell down...so be it.

I'm Michael Jordan

Edit: I'm the asian on the left. Dude these pictures are dark!

6'1" I wear 34x34 jeans, which are fairly baggy on me. Not gansta style though. In dress pants, I wear a anything from a 32x32 to 34x34 depending on the style of pant, and the 'look' I'm going for.

I have a friend, his friend's friend's friend wears his pants all the way up to his chest, go figure! 😕

32 inseam/34 waist. 5'6" with a big ol' gut =(

i like having the waist of the pants around my belly button is.

i wear wool blends <-- pants that is.

6' with 32" inseam, as I get back in shape the pants are slowing getting closer to my bellybutton, but will still be 32's.......
