i remember a made-for-tv movie about a boy with red converse.
he sucked in basketball... but once he got them pair of converse..
he became a super star.

Who would pay for somebody's old smelly sneakers? If they were worn by someone famous, I could kind of see some dumb collector doing it, but in this case it makes no sense. Unless you have some sort of thing for old smelly shoes...
