Stupid Noob question: how to reset default password

Let me preface this post by saying that I absolutely stink when in comes to networking. With that said, I was still able to set up my wireless network but I have no idea how to change the default password for the configuration page (cleverly set as "admin").

Thanks.

If you can't find it in the manual, look on the back for a reset button or a hole labeled reset. If there is just a hole you can use a bent paper clip to push the reset button on the inside.

I know what the password it, it's the default. I don't need to reset the router, I just need to change the default pass.

If you've misplaced the manual, you can download it from the Linksys site.

To change the router password. login with the default then click Administration on the top line and Management on the second.

login > Administration > Management tab

change the password there. this is how my WRT54G is, its hardware rev 6, should be the same on others as well.
