So dinner time is rolling around, and i look in the fridge and what do i see?

Butter and a few onions... Apparently my roomies left this weekend and threw out most of the aging (yet still edible) food.

So i run over to the grocery store across from my complex (heres why i hate this country sometimes), and surprize surprize its closed.

So now im stuck gnawing on my left wrist for the night, or somehow catching the mouse we have running around the kitchen and frying the bastard.

How can a country's economy survive when nothing is ever open? Stores are closed sundays and mondays, only open T-Sat 11am-5pm (many close early, round 4-4:30pm)

WALMART, IF YOUR READING THIS, COME INVADE THE NETHERLANDS. WE NEEEEEEEED YOU!

They do, and Burger King, and KFC, and Pizza Hut.
But they are a 30 minute bike ride away.

No car? That sucks.

In this country, bikes outnumber cars about 10:1.
