Ok, I've got IE6 running, I don't use it much so don't know much about it. I looked in the IE help file and did search this board but couldn't find what I needed. Is there anyway to get IE to check external pop email accts?
Under tools my only options are choose a program Outlook or Outlook express. Grrr...I'd like to check an outside mail source. Is this possible? Thanks,
j

What do you mean by external? like a pop mail server from a different ISP other then the one you are connected to?

You don't check e-mail with Internet Explorer itself, you'd use outlook express or another 3rd party mail program.. You can go into outlook express and setup a pop mail account for whatever server you want to check. Just remember, if its from a different ISP then your connected to, you more then likely won't be able to send mail through their SMTP server, in which case, you just put in your ISP's smtp server.

Hope this answers your question, if not.. try elaberating more.
