Stupid free magazine subscriptions

I just got a call from the FHM magazine people on how I like the magazine and if I would want to get three more years. How the hell did they get my number? I never gave it out on the subscription form for the free one year.

Thats why I use my nickname rather than my real name. Probably they got it from one of those "third party affiliates"

Anyone can do it. It just takes a little money. Businesses like FHM can find out information about you quite easily. Especially if you're debted to them.
