Stupid fan question

Ok, I'm going to order myself a whole bunch of parts from newegg and put 'em all together myself. I'll be just like grandpa who built the cabin with his own two hands, with only spoons.

I'm going to be ordering a 1.4 GHz Athlon (OEM), so I assume no fan with it. I'm also going to buy some AMD recommended CoolerMaster heatsink/fan with it, only $8@newegg. So far, so good.

What do I use to glue it? (I just don't see Elmer's as being appropriate...) Is there special adhesive that I can buy? Or will the fan + heatsink come with a peel-off adhesive on it?

Thanks.

I'm almost positive that the coolermaster hsk has a clip that you clip onto the cpu socket of the motherboard... could be a hold mount... no glue should be required. A thermal compound yes, try arctic silver 2 for the thermal compound (a layer of this between the hsk and cpu helps the exchange of heat between the two).... did that rhyme? sorry... lol

lol yeah elmers glue do seem a little inappropriate. The heatsink will have "hooks" that hooks on to the tabs sticking out the socket. Don't worry you'll see when you get your heatsink. You don't have to buy any kind of adhesive.
