How can I "like" something without it being plastered all over my friends news feed? There is a business that I don't necessarily like but I'm required to "like" it in order to post to it's wall. In the meantime my friends are seeing that I like this company and are able to read what I post to the companies facebook wall.

Is there a way I can like a company without advertising it all over facebook. I removed the "coomarlin like company XXXXX" from my wall yet it still shows up on my friends wall :(

Stupid stupid stupid.............

well if I do that and set it to "Only Me" then my status updates won't be shown to my friends.

I don't so much mind that because I am choosing myself to broadcast that info. I intend for that to be broadcasted publicaly. What I'd prefer is when I click on "like" I'd like to have the option to broadcast it or keep it to myself.

I saw a job posting for a Social Meda Administrator. the job description was just posting stuff on facebook, youtube, etc about the company, removing spam from the company sites, and just general easy crap. the kicker is they are paying 20-23 an hour for this...

This is why I never click like on anything, or check in anywhere. I even disabled others' ability to tag me on checkins.

Didn't read the article, but I remember something about FB making it so that if your wall posts or "Likes" include any brand/sponsor, it'll put the logo beside the post. This apparently can't be turned off.

"I like KFC and Starbucks" - <Add Colonel and Starbuck logo>

create a fake account where it won't matter to you what you like or don't like. Or...stop taking Facebook so damn serious
