stupid error message while downloading on AIM

Everytime I try to get this fiel from a friend on AIM I get a message and so does the other guy. On my side it says he canceled the transfer on his side it says We're behind 2 different firewalls. How can I change this? Is there anything I can do? or does anyone know where I can get the music video for Bok Choy Boys-I want my chow mein

What this means is no connection can be established. It does not necessarily mean that you or the other person is behind a firewall...it's just a default message when a connection can't be established. I wish AOL would change the message and look into getting a better file exchange system.

The transfer starts gets about to %5 or so and then it gives dat stupid message. I think it establishes the transfer and then gives me a message. Know how to change the firewall?
