my new sales rep started calling me back in october mostly to sell me a whole bunch of other serivices that i dont need. she was fully aware of my moving my massage practice to another town we discussed this in detail during several phone calls.

the new phonebook came out yesterday and this morning i looked at my ad and its the same ad as last year with the wrong fricken address. It still even says "moving to new hospital July 2007"

(I moved last July to the hospital when the surgeons i subleased my room from moved, my lease expired on jan 28. the docs didnt renew it because they brought on a 4th doc and she wanted my room so i had to move)

WTF!!!!!! :| :| :| :| :|

I would have been the only massage therapist listed for the town i moved to.

I have heard of this happening to other people but DEX sues when the business they screw over refuse to pay and always wins these cases. so im paying $103 a month for a worthless add. i called my rep this morning and left a non to pleasant voicemail. i hope i started her day as shitty as she started mine.

UPDATE: found a number to call for ads with incorrect info. DEX was going to discount my 30% but i pressed for 50% and got it. everything in my ad is right BUT the address. now if they screwed up my phone number as well then i would tell them to kiss off and im not paying a dime.

so im sorta satisfied that i got my monthly bill reduced by half. nothing i can do about the print so time to move on.

Heck, I wouldn't pay that, just claim that it isn't your business because technically they are advertising for something that doesn't exist.

Yup, a local phone company printed a large pest control ad with my phone number(We have the exact same phone number except for 1 digit in the area code).

They apologize and attempt to pay for me to switch numbers, then offer to pay for my number and a whole year of phone service...

So now I get the occasional phone call and say that X company is out of business and to call Orkin.

Yeah, more people use them than you may think, esp among the middle aged and up

Don't be paying for nothing. They made a mistake. Don't pay for it. That pisses me off that you would roll over and take it.

im not going to roll over and take it. i alreay took the first step and called my rep. when she calls me back i will tell her im not paying for it.

the phone number listed is correct so im sure they will use that as leverage against me not paying.
