That doesn't look like a bengal. I was researching them for awhile, they come in 2 types: 1) Spotted like a leopard or 2) Cinnamon swirls reminiscent of a classic tabby. Now, if the bengal mates with normal cats, you'll get a diluted mix that looks like a cross between a tabby and a bengal, but they aren't black or nearly solid black. I think your sister got taken for a ride.

I have a Melanistic bengal which is has a black pattern that shows up in the right light. Very much like a Black Leopords spots.

So go crap on some one elses thread Mr. Know it all.

Proof

Black (melanistic) and silver are colors that are being worked with for eventual championship by some breeders. Blue (dilute), chocolate, torbie, and golden Bengal, are not being sought after by breeders and are usually sold as different and unique pets but are not used in breeding programs or for show.
There is nothing wrong with these Bengals, they just happen to be a color that is not accepted for championship. They are usually available for a less expensive price (the silvers and blacks this may not always be true of) and in any case make wonderful pets who equally deserve a loving home.

My girlfriend's cat used to have problems pooping. She was told by her vet to give the cat some kaopectate , 1 tbsp a day. That should clear it right up. Someone here recommended pepto earlier but the vet told me before NOT to give it pepto and give it kaopectate instead.

Please let me know how that works for you. Good luck!

Yep, Bismuth subsalicylate AKA Pepto can be fatal to cats since it has aspirin or something like aspirin.

Here are a couple posts in a cat group I'm in:
One of the very BEST thing that we do when any of our queens has the runs is
switch her immediately to Gerbers Chicken Baby Food. It is good tasting, it has
moisture in it, and it is very easy on their digestive system. Please do not
give them any Pepto B. It has an ingreedient, I do not remember which, that is
extreemely harsh for cats. It can even exaborate the iritable bowel syndrom.

Here is a very good remedy that you could try.
Cook some chicken breasts (with skin) in a lot of water. Debone and shred the
chicken. Cook rice in the water retained from the chicken with some squash or
pumpkin till the rice is very, very soft and mushy. Add the chicken, mash all
together - give this, and only this (no other food) to him for a day or two.

Vet said no Pepto, and Kaopectate wont solve the problem just mask it for a while.

She put the cat on some sort of Parasidic NUKE, and a perscription food.

GOD this cat is costing some $$$$$$$$$$

New food meaning what you've been giving him since you got him? That's what caused all the problems?

Cats not around when you're bleaching, right? 🙂

Pretty cat. I like black cats. Had one years ago.
