Stupid Case Fan Questions...

Homerboy

Lifer
A)What's the "normal" size of the rear exhaust fan? 60mm? 80mm?

B)What's a nice, QUIET rear exhaust fan?

1. Most of the cases I have seen have an 80mm exhaust fan but I don't think that's really the normal size cause there are more and more cases everyday coming equipped with larger fans.

2.Panaflo L1A's You can buy them here, www.teamawe.com

Mine's 80mm... I dug around for schematics (kinda hard ot measure it when your at work =))...
Regardless thanks!

I have 2 80 mm below and above the back power supply and the power supply fan itself has a fan.
I also have a 120mm and a 80mm in the front.
You need some good cooling if yer overclocking and this is one badass cooling rig.
its like a friggin tornado in there but everythings very cool.
Usually below room temperature or the same as.
More cooling the better.
Can't stress that enough
My gladiac would only overclock to 365 memory before now with good cooling im at 385 memory and going to try higher.

wow started braggin too much and forgot to answer your question.
Sunons are very quiet.
Mine are excellent quiet and powerful.
Good quality

To the extent any cooling options are "standardized" around here, 80mm would seem to be it.

I'm using Dynaeon 80mm fans. I have two in each system: one intake (lower front) and one exhaust (upper rear). They are quiet and effective.

"Usually below room temperature or the same as"
