Yeah i know this should go in the software forum.. but blah blah blah

Vridge Bulder won't RUN!!! All I get is a black screen... I'm running windows2k... nuthing.. is it for Win98/ME only?

Uh oh... is it really that high GPU intensive?

I only a ATi Rage Pro Turbo 8MB... it has Direct3D and OpenGL support though.

/me whine about wanting a GeForce 2 MX... 🙁

I'm running a non-official driver... so that might be a problem...
but i can't install latest drivers since my monitor is "composite" and newer drivers don't support composite monitors. when i installed the new drivers, my screen gets all distorted.

If anyone know how I can tell the drivers that my monitor is composite... that would be great!

My borther in-law is having the same problem. He has an ATI Xpert@Play 98, which has a Rage Pro chip.
To play the game he lowered the Hardware Acceleration in the Display Applet, in Control Panel. Only bad thing is that it's slow.

By the way the Rage Pro supposedly supports both Direct3D and OpenGL, but he's never been able to run anything in OpenGL unless it uses software rendering. Not even Quake II which according to the box the card came in, is supported, as well as all games based on the Quake II Engine.
