Stupid Antec!

WTF, why cant Antec make a case thats Black. The metallic grey looks nice, just a bitch to match the drives. I have 3 Antec Cases, and i love the quality, but i need a black case that has a window...that doesnt have the cheap feely of a chieftec. I mean, on the Antec's the steel is smooth, but on the chieftecs its rougher. I need a nice black case!

What Antec sells are Chenming cases that other manufacturers use. They put their powersupplies in them and whatever fans they choose and stick their name on them.

reason so critical with smoothness, bought a cheiftec, and the side panals were a crapy rough material

As for Antec cases, I can't say anything about their "blackness" as I never owned one. And there are a lot of other quality black cases available, or are you dead seat on Antec. i know they make quality, I prefer their PSUs. Other than the Sonata, I have seen only one "Antech/Chenming/Whatever-style" case that was black. It was a CompUSA branded case, but I am pretty sure it is the same case as Antec. It was black as far as I could tell. I couldn't match any drives to be posative, but it looked as black as my black case...

I've been looking for a true black Antec/Chenming/Chieftec case too. You might find one at Directron.com. They sell some Chenming models under their name.
