If anyone cares this is almost exactly what a cruiser looks like.
EXCEPT for the bed.
So the manual typewriters, office furniture, and books from the mid-20th century are all still standard equipment on US cruisers?:wink:/:D

All of the current F-16 Thunderbirds have their number painted on the intake underneath the cockpit. The #5 Thunderbird has its' number painted upside down since this is the plane that performs all of the inverted maneuvers during the show. Each of the pilots has their name and number sewn on their uniforms. The #5 pilot has an upside down '5' on their uniform.21.jpg

That's a BB. Looks like the Mighty Mo. One of my best friends was on this ship. I've seen this ship fire it's 16 inch guns. Its an incredible vessel.

The description underneath the pictures says it is the North Carolina BB-55 which is now a museum ship in Wilimington, NC.

The battleships that are now museum ships have a lot of their vintage WWII items displayed.

The slot in the back of your old medicine cabinet is a razor-blade drop.

Just google "medicine cabinet slot" and see what people have found in the house wall.

Would have guessed "ventilation" or some sort of cabinet-installation aid. But yep, on mine the slot's top edge is bent inward to facilitate dropping something in.

I knew that but I'm old. My 1st razor wasn't a straight razor but not far behind.;)

Only two NHL players have worn the number 69 on their jersey:

Mel Angelstad - Washington Capitals and Andrew Desjardins - San Jose Sharks

they used to make armor piercing rounds from depleted uranium, but eventually found the tiny amount of radiation just wasnt worth it, so now they are made of tungsten.

There is a 10 minute time limit in the SNES version of F-Zero. You would normally not come close to that in the game's regular tracks (since you would either crash or get ranked out long before then if you play bad), but this guy created an outrageously long hacked custom track and only manages to complete one lap in the 10 minutes.

Each year Toyota sells far more RAV4s than BMW's total vehicle sales ... in the USA.
Specifically ... 427k > 311k ... (in 2018)

Here's the 2019 RAV4 Adventure model

So first Toyota strips the Rav4 of all off-road capability and then adds massive skid plates to further reduce clearance?

The slingshot spider uses it's web as a trampoline to catch nearby prey. The center of the web is anchored by a single thread which the spider reels in. That stretches the web into an elastic cone. When it detects prey, it releases the trigger line and catapults itself and the web toward the prey.

The spider's acceleration is 1100 m/s^2

"If you live north of Atlanta, Georgia, you cannot make vitamin D in your skin from about November through February. "

o_O Not sure if true ...
Too bad for all those living in Marietta
