Stuff to do in Atlanta?

Where in Atlanta are you staying?

Lots of the regular tourist stuff.. Aquariums, world of coke, etc etc

The vortex is a must if you're close to either of them. The varsity is an interesting experience but IMO the food is not that great.
 
Don't forget your zombie hunting permit.

I haven't been to HotLanta in well over a decade. But "Pitty Pat's Porch" {downtown, near-ish CNN and the convention center} was a good place for traditional Southern cuisine. There's an area of the city called "Buckhead", which has a very good concentration of restaurants and bars. Younger peeps tended to go there.

That.... and nearly everything in the city is on Peachtree....


...the trick is Peachtree highway East... or North... or Street... or Road... or Lane... or Place.... x)
 
Nobody's mentioned the Clermont Lounge yet? Come on!

I do love that place, but someone mentioned Buckhead...also, depending on your type of bar scene, the Little Five Points area has a lot of restaurants and bars along with a high ratio of hipsters.

Get on peachtree, drive down to peachtree and hang a left on peachtree. Keep going until you've reach peachtree and peachtree, then hang a right onto peachtree. You'll reach your destination at peachtree.

This is always fun, unless you get turned around and end up on Peachtree by accident, very bad neighborhood.
