The reason I do this is because I sit for hours at a time in my seat at work, and want to feel comfortable. Like right now, as I'm typing this, my wallet is in my pocket (about to go for lunch) and my ass is being elevated an inch; not very comfortable.

Oh, and I stole the stapler from the copy room today. I gave them my busted one back though.

Edit: Forgot to say that I'm usually one of the lowliest employees at any workplace. If anyone had to steal from someone who probably made significantly less than the majority of everyone else, then he or she would deserve a beating.

If I can stick a laptop or a textbook into it, it ceases to be eligible to be called a purse at that point :laugh:. IMO. It's just a "bag" or a "tote" at that point, depending on how it's designed, how it closes, etc.

We had a contractor walk off with a brand new HP desktop. It wasn't mine, but I was in charge of the shipment.

His contract wasn't getting re-upped so I think he probably just said what the hell.

Other than that, no I've never had anything stolen. There's only a handful of people that have badge access to access my office, so I feel pretty safe.

That's not quite as bad as moving in to a new home, thinking you have ghosts, finding things moved around, doors and cabinets open that you know you had closed, then waking up one morning to find that someone had pried the side door of your garage open and had been coming and going for a while all while trying to cover his tracks. He was coming in and taking my tools. Stole almost $1,000 worth of stuff before I figured it out.

I also have suspicions that he was in the house while I was home. But I did not get up to check it out, because I thought I was loosing my mind.

I worked in a large office/factory the next town over from a very ghetto town (Pontiac MI).
We had a number of wallets stolen from purses and other items stolen (cell phones etc.).

We busted a lady who would tailgate people in and go on a mini crime spree. She was well dressed and we had over 1000 people working so she blended in but we noticed her via video surveillance.

At the company we had at least a dozen laptops stolen from the cleaning crew. We ended firing one company.

Yes Amber. I tried calling it a European carry all, messenger bag, shoulder bag and even man purse, but who are we kidding?

It has one strap, goes on one shoulder, carries all of my 'shit', and I take it everywhere I go. It ain't leather though.
