I was wondering if it would be possible to have an option where it would let you customize each thread. Say I want all my threads sorted by most recent date. But once I'm inside the thread, I want the msgs for that one only to show in ascending or descending order. Or maybe just have an option where old msgs are not shown once you enter the thread ago so it doesn't have to waste time loading and just pops up with new msgs since you last visited. 🙂
 
I doubt we will ever do that, its just entirely too much of a slow down. You can customize how you view stuff for the entire forum which is more than enough. Thanks.
 
Hey Zuni, a bit off the topic but:
Did you ever think of making this a client side software package too? In order to view the forums, you must d/l the software? That way you can incorperate a lot of stuff into the software that would slow down the servers if it was all server side. Also you could leave the forums the way they are for people who can't d/l the software or choose not to.
 
Yeah, that is something we are pondering, but that takes alot of time and resources hehe. 🙂 But its a great suggestions.. we started integrating thick client vb ends already to our fusemail product.
