I am making a peltier cooler. I need some P and N type semiconductors. Where would I go about purchasing these? I cant find them anywhere online. I also need something to control the peltier so that it doesnt get too cold. Anyone know how to do this?

I realize that I could buy pre-built peltier coolers, but I want to make it myself. Help appreciated!
 
You can get N and P doped silicon wafers for dirt cheap. universitywafer, virgina semiconductor, etc will all sell them to you.
