Where/how did they get this? Inquiring minds want to know..., well, this one does!

A reading of the ABSTRACT from the NIH study reveals that THC absorption did increase with holding one's breath but said that the subjective sense of being high did not increase ("In contrast, breathholding for 10 or 20 sec versus 0 sec increased plasma delta 9-tetrahydro-cannabinol levels but not CO boost or subjective effects."). Why that would be or what the statements add up to are mysterious to me.

And what does "CO boost" refer to?

edit: btw, 3000 milliseconds is exactly what the dispensary recommends.
