Subyman, believe it or not, stupid shit like this happens in schools all the time. It happened to me.

I found a couple .22 caliber bullets at school one day (underneath my desk). I brought it to an instructor's attention by simply telling him "I found these there [pointing]", and 3 hours later I found myself being driven home with a 3 day suspension for "bringing live ammunition to school".

I was always good student who didn't get in any real trouble. Good news is that there is no such thing as a "permanent record" and I simply didn't mention the incident to the colleges I applied to.

Were the people responsible for this leftists or not? Do you remember the cases where students used their fingers as guns or had a pink toy gun? It was the left that wanted action against them.

So if you turned out to be wrong, would you say, "sorry guys, I jumped to conclusions based on my personal bias, I'll try not to do that again"?

Or perhaps you could work on coming up with convincing evidence that jobsworths are generally leftists?

Did he then get disciplined for handling the bullets? :)

Wait, this is like school! "Tag, you're it!"

Well, possibly, but couldn't it have been maybe just an individual or group who identifies as leftist and not "the lefists" per se?

Speaking of useless posts, you're probably well aware that you can't reason with incorruptible. You'll just get a statement that doesn't follow. So what's your real motive here, buddy? What are you up to? A cunning plan?

Let's bring that up to 91%

So you're still upset about getting teabagged even though you deserved it.

She was suspended and facing expulsion from the district for touching the razor, the district refused to listen to reason, and basically said it wasn't relevant the reason she was holding it.

Thanks to the media attention the district reversed course and has allowed her to return, and she is no longer going to be expelled.

This is problem with zero tolerance policy, under this policy if a student brings a knife to school and starts stabbing, if a student attempts to stop him physically they will be expelled.

from wiki:
Media attention has proven embarrassing to school officials, and the embarrassment has resulted in changes to state laws as well as to local school policies. One school board member gave this reason for changes his district made to their rigid policy: "We are doing this because we got egg on our face."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_tolerance_(schools)

So why are these psychopaths running the institutions managing your children? It's almost like they must be malicious, evil people. It must have occurred to them that applying no reasonable discretion in these cases, such as expelling a high school senior honor roll student under a zero tolerance weapons ban for having nail clippers in his possession (see above), or in this case, would have stupid and immoral consequences, which necessarily makes them immoral as well. Shame on them. They're scum. Right, incorruptible?

I mean, in the teacher's lounge... someone was like, "so, guys, are we really okay with suspending a student for removing a razor under these (supposed) circumstances?" And they looked at each other and were like, "yeah, i guess? it's the policy guys. nothing we can do." Then they were motivated by embarrassment instead of sanity to change their minds and the policies?

Absurd. something sinister is going on here.
