Student Steals Balence/Scale For Drugs

Well, we had an interesting crime at my HS the other day that has me scratching my head and going WTH.😱 It seems 2 electronic metric balences were stolen from a Freshmen science class. Sadly, they'll most likely be used to measure drugs, and will never be seen again.:| What kind of a place is this world comming to where kids will steal lab tools for their own use?
 
Pretty resourceful because i dont think i can use a bathroom scale to deal drugs..i mean in that sort of "freshman" quantity.
 
those scales are expensive.

Statements like this confound me.

In my eyes, two commercial airliners full of people crashing into twin 110-story buildings is more a sign that the world is going to hell than some kids stealing a scale from school to measure out some pot.

Or Hitler gassing 6 millions Jews. You mean after this we (the World) were still cool but now that those blasted kids stole a scale all hope is lost?

I mean WTF?

I think this 'crime' will rate quite low on the scale when we look back upon why humanity slid into hell.*

*hell in the secular sense 🙂

yea a scale was stolen from my chem lab 2 years ago (when i was in high school chem). they caught the kid though 😉

Do drug dealers really need to steal scales? I mean, I realize the things are expensive, but come on, they're drug dealers. Surely they have the cash to afford it. 😛

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified myself a bit more. I'm not saying this is "evil" as much as it is pathetic. I mean come on, a High School's balence? It's like stealing from the poor here(the balences stolen, 2 in all, will not be replaced this year, leaving the school with only 4 out of the set of 6; it was the only set). Heck, at least with MP3s, you can say you're stealing to "stick it to the man", but to steal a balence?:Q
 
In 7th grade my teacher told us that she bought the scales from a crack lab...(im guessing a gov research one)..she said when she got them they were still "dusty".
