lmao jets fan.. im a cowboys fan i live in tx... anways i dropped outta college dont bash me please. and i got a year FORBEARANCE or what ever its called until i had to start paying well now its time to pay.. so my options are:
1. pay $50 a month
2. pay interest 29 a month for 2 years then i will still have the full loan to pay back
im unemployed at the moment i do little things on the side to pay my bills i know most of you think $50 isnt much to pay but it is for me. Whats my best way to pay this off without getting screwed over with interest?
the loan is $1,742.66 and interest is 7.9%
That really isn't a lot of money...compared to most student loans. Just pay the 29 a month now since you have no job, when you get a job, start paying more to get it paid off.
And if i were you, i wouldn't worry about getting "screwed over with interest" on an amount that low...and worry about getting some work so you can afford to pay it off and don't have to worry about getting screwed on the interest.
please $1,800; thats a joke! Most of the people i know have 10k+. take the $29 option til you can get a job, then get a zero interest balance transfer card and pay it off, so then you get a year to pay off the entire balance at zero interest. You should be able to do that quite easily.
geez, my interest on my student loans last year was more than $1,800!
