Already hobbled by a broken left foot suffered two weeks ago while snowboarding, Machak was beaten up with his own crutch Saturday night outside the QFC supermarket near Peter Kirk Park in Kirkland.
Police yesterday continued to look for the four teenagers they think were responsible.
According to Odekirk, Sean and a friend, both 18, were walking toward a video-game arcade near the supermarket about 10 p.m. when the teens began taunting them.
A fight erupted, and one of the taunters wrestled a crutch from Machak and clubbed him on the head with it, said Kirkland police Lt. Bill Hamilton. Machak was hit so hard the crutch broke, his parents said.
