Anyone know of any places to get a notebook from a place that offers discounts for higher education. I'm currently enrolled in college so I am eligabel for them. I know apple and dell both do this if you buy direct.

*edit need to clean this up ;)
The thing is I'm looking into something that is a year to three years old(ex p4 or later p3) and used or a refurb. Hope someone has some ideas :)

You could go the "special deals" part of applestore.com and look at a new g3 ibook and get $100 off the price.

Good Luck. Most computers are so much discounted from people like DELL, IBM, Compaq and others that a student discount does not mean much. Might check to see if your bookstore has any deals.

Does student discounts only apply to University students? Or can college students get them as well? What sort of ID do i have to provide to prove?
