but, of course, ignoramuses will confuse self-control with calling sex 'dirty', as such will encourage their children to follow the same immoral foot steps they themselves are trying to justify.
Hows the rarified air up there on that pedestal you occupy Lord Kain?

back on topic, i find it wholly pathetic that a school district needs to remind its students about their obligation to public decency. that speaks volumes about our society and the ammount of effort that is put into parenting these days.
Or it could be something that was needed to be put in writing to prevent frivolous lawsuits because something wasn't included.

it should be understood that there is to be NO sex in the school. PERIOD. school is a place for education, not wanton sex.

something like this just begs the question of what kind of kids are parents raising and what kind of immoral society are we nurturing when we have to spell out for people when and where it is appropriate to have sex!

IME the parents who think that *their* kids would ne-e-e-ever do something like that are just blind, their kids are just as likely to have sex and WAY more likely to have unprotected sex.

First of all students go to school to learn something. If they want to neck or engage in Sex that is fine, but have the decency to rent a hotel room, park a car, or go to one of their houses. There is no need for Sex in school. It is a matter of self respect and courtesy to others.

If you have a large high school with over 500 students all trying to get to class, who wants to have to try to get around teenagers doing their thing in the middle of the hallway? It is counter productive. Certain activities are better left in the bedroom.

Another point is that when the students are at school, the school is responsible for their actions. Schools have become a kind of guardian to the students. Schools have a responsibility to answer to the parents and protect themselves against law suits.

In my day they use to send boys home because they had not shaved and there was a dress code for girls and boys to follow. Even kissing would not have been allowed in the halls, because it always leads to something more. Of course there were always those who would kiss and hold hands and get twitterpated.

What high school were you conceived in?

I think you believe that you were mutate from some plant, but the truth is that you were conieved by your mom and dad having sex and you came out of your mothers vagina.

I know it is traumatic for you, but try to read it for what it is, people have sex, wome get pregnant, they give birth

That is how it works.

The days of "Goodnight Granpa, Goodnight John Boy" are long over. Times changes, people change, situations change, morals change and ethics change.

Yeah i think i do, is oral sex immoral, how about greek style? bent over regualr? Spell it out for me.

Or should i just continue to believe that nothing is immoral as long as everyone agrees and it hurts no one?

Nah, that cannot be your point, can it?

Hmmm, maybe todays society isn't as "immoral" as the Hysterical Fund A Mental Cases like to portray it.

The teenage birth rate _ steadily declining since 1991 -- hit a record low in 2002.

couldnt possibly be partially attributed to birth control pills or abortions, could it?

I dunno, but we had birth control, condoms and people could have abortions here WAY before 91.

Which year was Roe bs Wade, that could clue you in.

I think what Rip is upset about is that this NYC proposed code bans sex only in the stairwells, not in the restrooms, classrooms, etc. Perhaps this is meant to be a traffic regulation (nothing to see people, move along please) rather than a morality rule.

Or it could be an example of sloppy rules drafting-but remember this is a draft version.

Otherwise this is about as newsworthy as the warning contained with some irons not to use them on clothes you are wearing.
