You cant notice it even if you are trying if you are sitting on the couch, it just pisses me off knowing that its there.

Tried a few different methods to getting it unstuck... nothing.

I've got one stuck green pixel on my new 25" monitor. Annoying as hell since it's in the top middle of the screen. I've tried all the different methods to get it unstuck to no avail. Most of the time you barely notice it, but watch a movie or TV show and it looks like someone is standing behind it shining a ffng flashlight through that tiny little hole.

They make computer programs that sometimes get rid of stuck pixels. You could also try a pencil eraser on it.

Place the tv in a warm place, not too hot, about 95F and let it run for about 30 minutes , and massaging the pixel, it often works. I know a tech that uses a hair dryer, but I don't recommend that because it can deform the screen if not done correctly.

Just don't massage it too much or you will be cleaning up the mess. 😉

why not exchange it

i thought hot pixels were covered at most places because they are way more annoying than dead pixels

Never heard of a TV manufacture with a zero dead pixel exchange policy. My 24" monitor has 2 stuck pixels and Acer told me "oh well..." can't imagine 1 stuck pixel on a TV being justification to return it. I might be wrong, maybe a few makers out there will let him return it, but it sounds like a lot of work for a pixel he can't even see when he's looking for it. Plus who's to say the replacement won't have a similar, or worse problem?

Hopefully you got that Extended Warranty.

If they won't cover "hot pixels" ... have the TV 'slip' off the TV stand. I'm sure they'll cover DEAD pixels. As in All of them.
