Stuck pixel?

Rommels

Senior member
I just noticed a small dimly white dot in the upper middle of my L90D+.
If I put black over it I can't see it, if I put other colors over it I can.

It's only been there fora few hours but it is already on my nerves, it just looks like a tiny bit brighter spot than what surrounds it, except on black.

Stuck?

Nothing?

I got a flip flopper DANG IT!!

If it was stuck then on black I should see it
If it was dead then on black I would see it as it seems to be a very very light white color.

you may wish to try something like this:

"
PliotronX: Massaging didn't work for mine either, however about 20 seconds of "rolling" with graduating pressure and a q-tip (a.k.a. cotton swab) whipped the red subpixel back into shape. That was one time about a year ago and it has never returned. As in the other thread those many moons ago, I can't be held responsible if the substrate cracks though Good luck.
"

I havn't yet seen a post from someone who has had bad (left worse off) results using a cotton swab.

however, I can't say the same for some people who used their fingers (of course, generally bigger then the swab) to attempt to fix their pixels.

As stated above, move VERY slowly and with VERY light pressure over the spot with the cleanest cloth you can find, then repeat, till problem improves or it seems helpless. Other than that, you have no recourse but to attempt to RMA or give up.
