Stuck in F.E.A.R. Edit: AGAIN! help!

Hey.. im in the office building, after the helicopter drop on the roof, inside, up the stairs, in a cubicle-type area, killed a few of the stealthers, now im at a dead end.. the path dead ends where you jump over a barrier for some ammo, and two corpses of friendly soldiers... have backtracked, only conceivable path I see is to try to go up through the ceiling, but no way up through the holes the stealthers made..


Anyone? please? 🙂


 
Havent a clue what that acronym is, but I got it after 15 minutes or so of searching.. had to jump up ontop of the soda machine at the dead end and enter the ceiling.
 
Hmmm... I don't recall being stuck for even a moment at that part. It must be something obvious. Double back and retrace your steps.

PS -- every time that I've been stuck in this game, the answer was... a vent, or ceiling access. heh

I dont know where you went into the ceiling, but I just finished that entire building, and I didnt go into the ceiling once....Didnt jump on any soda machines either....

No there is one point, forgot when, but they make you go into the ceiling, its obious because the have the opening on the ceiling, a desk right next to 2 soda machines and the ceiling itself is broken and laying on them like a ramp. It is almost a Arrow written into fire that can be seen from space saying go here.

damn those heavy armor suits are annoying now that I ditched my shotgun for the energy rifle..

don't forget you can use grenades on the big guy... a few of those in a row and he's knocked down to a peon. 😉

The funnest thing for me right now is using the ammo cheat and just sticky-blowing everyone away
 
Im stuck again..

I just used the sentry gun to waste half a room of guys, before the others took it down..


Now im back at the security room which it seems to dead end at..

Where do I go fromt eh sentry gun control console?

ive backtracked completely as far back as I can go.. which is a long run


only usable object is the lift that goes up to a room with no exits, and you can only take the lift back down.

IDDQD is the cheat code for invincibility in Doom 1 and 2, GOSH!
 
no, not a different building...right now i am on interval 8 at the compound, after you get out of the crashed helicopter. and I havent once anywhere in the game when into the ceiling
 
Beyond that, you'll find a security station with a turret control system nearby; be sure to hop in and kill as many soldiers as you can with the turret before moving on. It's fun!

There's another Health Booster in one of the offices here, near the one with the flashing answering machine. These Armacham people must've been one healthy lot. You can also get a Reflex Booster, by checking out the operating table in the room past where you see Fettel through the window.

Most of the ensuing fights here are pretty standard, but when you get into the courtyard, be ready for another EVE enemy.



Thank you gamespot. So I use the remote turret control.. then suddenly fights ensue after.. allready got the health booster and reflex booster.. never saw fettel through any windows.
 
Ok here is what happens.


You go around the vents to purge the room of toxic fumes. You then tag the phone and booster in the office next to the purge button. then you go back into the cleaned room, tag the laptop, go into the other exit door, go down a hallway, go around the raised area over the room where replica soldiers were dropped in before via rope, checkpoint, T-hallway, left is green, right is red/blocked. go left, open wooden door, take proximity mines, use turret. no more room to go anywhere.

Ahh, never did play Doom much. Made me sick watching everything going by so fast.
 
IDDQD... teh rox0rz. im 19 and i know what that is come on now.. I'm sure everyone here has played DOOM on their old windows 3.1 system.

😀 I've only played about two hours or so of FEAR, and thoroughly enjoyed what time I did play, but it was pretty much all office buildings. Not like in say HL2 where you could say "well I'm in Ravenholm" 🙂


(my only real complaint with the game)
