This has been something that has been occurring for sometime now (ever since the 180.xx drivers, maybe before just can't quite remember).
This occurred with SLI and QUAD SLI... always:
-Core 0: Stuck in 3d Performance
-Core 1: Goes to 2d Mode
-Core 2: Goes to 2d Mode (quad, current setup)
-Core 3: Goes to 2d Mode (quad, current setup)
A couple details about my setup:
-Dual Monitors (2 Asus 26inch monitors)
-EVGA x58 SLI (Can see more details by clicking on the link in my sig)
A couple details about my 3d settings:
-Single Display Performance
-4 Alternate Frame Rendering (for quad)
-Max pre-rendered frames 4
-Besides this, everything else is the default settings
So I guess my question is, is this normal? Is there a way to fix this without using rivatuner to manual under-clock it? For some reason, I vaguely remember both cores at one point going back to 2d Mode (when I first got the card in feb 09).
