So, who is stuck at work today? I've been here for an hour, and have yet to do anything. All of the bosses have the day off, so I am going to see if I can get away with doing zero work today.

I have a ton of work to do. We are supposedly getting out early today, but I dont know if I'll be able to do that. Year end financial reporting sucks.

I have tons to do, just don't want to do it.
And yes, year end sucks. Not only is there month end budget to worry about, there is year end budget.
I think I need a beer.

Half day for me.

It is better than when I worked in another division, had to work Christmas Eve and Day.

We're usually off Christmas Eve, but because of the way it falls this year they're giving us the day after Christmas off instead (to create a 4-day weekend) and only making today 1//2 a work day. I finished up all my work for the year yesterday so I'm just going to sit around and do nothing but watch TV on my TV Wonder and surf. I'm off until 1/5 after noon today. :D

We have about 10% of the people who are normally here. Why am I here?!

working today... but then I think to myself: it's miserable weather outside anyway (up to 2 inches of friggin rain expected :|), so what would I do at home? lay around on a couch and watch TV? Besides, there was no traffic and I had no trouble finding parking! So all in all, it's not so bad

I have to do a half day, then drive a truck 400 miles in the rain to make it to my Grandma's house in time for dinner.

My family is PISSED that I'm not gonna make it over for lunch today. But there's no way I'm gonna work, then go over there, when I'm this sore from moving. Forget that. They can come over to my house!

Stuck here today (full day), then stuck here on new year's eve as well. Also in on the second. Like anyone is going to get any work done on those days...
There is always ATOT to keep me occupied.

The last couple of years what usually happens is the dept. manager comes by around noon and tells us to go home. But this year I have a different manager so who knows. Luckily, no real work to do, so surfing it is! I could have drove blindfolded into the parking lot today and not hit anything!

Yeah, I have a 65 mile commute everyday, today was a breeze (besides for the national guard checkpoint on the Verazanno Bridge) there was no traffic whatsoever.

The fam isn't doing anything until 5PM, so I don't mind getting paid to surf
Besides, I got my first check with my raise (retroactive to 11/10). Merry Christmas to me!!! :p

Cheers to the ATOT hard workers! I'm at work too. Not too bad cause it's quiet, I have lots to do and there is left over Christmas party food in the kitchen. :) I'm working a full day on Friday also. :(
