This is the weirdest thread I've seen on AT in recent memory. Thats quite difficult to achieve.

I showed it to a friend who doesn't visit these forums and she thought you guys are all nuts.

Purple Monkey Dishwasher (PMD) is a Simpson's quote.

I barely remember where it came from. I think it was in the episode where Lisa liked Nelson. I think what may have happened was they were watching a movie in the movie theater, and Lisa says to someone, "I think I like Nelson! Don't tell anyone!" The guy next to them overhears this, and whispers to the next person, "Lisa likes Nelson!" That starts a whole chain of whispers (a la "Password"), and by the time it gets to the last guy it's "Lisa likes Nelson, purple monkey dishwasher!"

Now, I say "Purple monkey dishwasher" whenever I need to think of something really random.
