I get in my car and hear this clicking sound, then find out that the car won't start. I opened up the hood and the sound is coming from a relay inside the fuse box.
When I open the door, the red door open light flashes as if the power is coming on and cutting off 2 or 3 times a second (matching with the clicks).
The car's been parked for about 5 hours now, it was running fine this afternoon.

What are my options?

edit:
the door open sound also keeps coming on and off

Wait, the clicking is occuring all the time? Not just when you turn the key?

Its a dead battery...the clicking you hear are all the relays going nuts from not enough voltage

Try playing with the battery cables. Maybe one isn't making too good of a connection.

Similar thing happened to me, had to get a tow truck, ended up that the battery cables were bad. Wasn't cheap

was something like that... the tow truck jump started it

the battery is about 14 mos old, shouldn't go bad that fast.
